A vertical work about departure and world-building. The composition combines a historical atmosphere with an almost alchemical mood. The characteristic blue creates distance and calm; the image appears less as a mere depiction than as the trace of a past scene. Its effect arises from layering, fragment and suggestion; it is precisely the unfinished quality that gives the work its tension.
