A dystopian vision of the future about a new beginning after human destruction. Figure, wings and title open a narrative science-fiction layer. This creates a work between drawing, material and narrative, in which the burn mark itself becomes a pictorial expression. The gaze and posture of the figure condense into a quiet counterpart that creates closeness and distance at once.
