The Prince Demands You

Reserved

Ralph D. Woop

2019

A direct, almost poster-like figure motif with a beckoning gesture. The work plays with gaze, power and theatrical address. The surface of the support is not concealed but becomes a resonating space for the depiction, giving the image its handcrafted presence. The figure appears not merely as a motif but as the carrier of a story that keeps working within the material.
