A coloured pyrography on a pallet with a down-to-earth message. Lettering, figure and material make the work direct and accessible. This creates a work between drawing, material and narrative, in which the burn mark itself becomes a pictorial expression. The work stands as an autonomous one-of-a-kind piece whose meaning is revealed less through explanation than through the act of seeing.
