Justitia's Suicide

On request

Ralph D. Woop

A pointedly symbolic work about justice, failure and social tension. The title is deliberately drastic and should be presented with curatorial care. The burnt line makes the creative process visible; wood, mark and motif remain inseparably connected. Its effect arises from layering, fragment and suggestion; it is precisely the unfinished quality that gives the work its tension.
