A portrait with a nostalgic, cinematic effect. The warm wood lends the motif a fragile, archival atmosphere. This creates a work between drawing, material and narrative, in which the burn mark itself becomes a pictorial expression. The figure appears not merely as a motif but as the carrier of a story that keeps working within the material.
