A pyrographic portrait on an upcycled support. The work combines music history, material traces and expressive pyrography. This creates a work between drawing, material and narrative, in which the burn mark itself becomes a pictorial expression. Read as a portrait, the work refuses a smooth surface and instead seeks character, memory and presence.
