Wall Clock

Not for sale

Ralph D. Woop

2013

A work about time, gaze and wall object. The clock becomes a symbol of memory, rhythm and transience. The characteristic blue creates distance and calm; the image appears less as a mere depiction than as the trace of a past scene. The composition invites slow contemplation, in which motif, material and atmosphere gradually become legible.
