A religiously charged motif with a classical pictorial reference. The cyanotype translates the theme into a cool, graphic timelessness. The characteristic blue creates distance and calm; the image appears less as a mere depiction than as the trace of a past scene. The work deliberately leaves room for ambiguity and shifts the boundary between motif, sign and inner image.
