Ralph D. Woop

2018

An untitled or neutral figure motif with a narrative feel. For the website this title should still be reviewed or replaced. The surface of the support is not concealed but becomes a resonating space for the depiction, giving the image its handcrafted presence. The figure appears not merely as a motif but as the carrier of a story that keeps working within the material.
