A multi-layered commissioned work with a collage-like composition. Different pictorial layers evoke memory, collection and personal history. The blue tonality opens an interval between present and memory, making the motif feel like a find from a private image archive. The individual source image is not merely transferred but translated into an autonomous artistic language.
